Saa... isn't it nice that Spring is coming? Winter has it's beauty, but sometimes it's better to be warm. I'm looking forward to more naps outside.

So! I guess that's why I wrote a poem recently. I tried my hand at haiku this time for a little variety~!

The spring sun comes out
The snow melts against the grass
Time for winter's rest.

Ah! Here it is! …Such a day is the perfect time for a little poem, so I’ve composed one in hopes to get everyone in right spirit~!

[clears throat]

Ladies are like flowers
They smell nice, they are nice…nice to look at too...
And…hour after hour they…
Dance…for hours.
So drink to the ladies!

Yare yare… the city sure likes to play games. It’s too bad this couldn’t have happened in the summer. Sorry ladies, it’s a little chilly out, hmm? Well, as they say, don’t judge a book by its bookmark.

Ukitake – Sorry about the hangover, but you still owe me a few bottles of sake after is over. Drink some water, that helps.

Hmm… well, I’m not drunk, so I know this has got to be a curse. Though, I think I kind of like this one.

Saa… it’s been a while since I’ve picked up this thing. I’d ask if I missed anything, but those curses are pretty hard to miss… I’m glad I’ve still been myself though!

Though… if I had to be a bird again, I’d rather be that bird I was before that one time.

Speaking of animals… Nanao-chan, how’s your figure today, hmm? Back to your normal feminine self yet? It’s a good day for a nap if you’re still occupied…

Well now! That was a rough couple of weeks… Saa… I guess I should be happy I’m better now, but here I am back at the security desk, and I can’t find my lovely ladies~!

People come and go, I guess. Now I guess I have to find some replacements. I can’t do this all by myself after all. How will I be able to take a nap?!

So, I guess I’m hiring again. Who needs a job, then? The generally evil folk need not apply, hmm?

It’s a hospital security job, so you should be able to stand your own, in case anybody wants to cause some trouble.

Ahhh… I think the flu finally caught up with me, can I call it quits early today?

That last curse was kind of interesting, but I’ve always been told by the ladies that it’s best to keep your tongue to yourself. Probably a good way to get yourself sick, too, licking strange people.

Speaking of…seems to a lot of that going on, based on the people asking for directions at the security counter lately. Hope nobody from supplies minds, I’m borrowing a few masks. I nap with my mouth open sometimes.

All and all…not so bad an October. I was expecting worse. Saa… have I really been here that long? It’s almost time for another Christmas and all that, isn’t it? Yare yare…
